"Compatible" Spektrum Receivers
« on: October 04, 2010, 06:58:20 pm »

I understand that you can now buy "compatible" Spektrum DSM2 receivers on eBay. Has anyone tried them? They are significantly cheaper than the cheapest Spektrum Rx.

Hi Barrie, I just bought one of these DSM2 RXs from HK and this one performs exactly as my previous AR6100 from Spektrum. If you think you need more range, then you can add a Spektrum satelite rx to get a "full range" RX. The "compatible" one cost £9 plus post and to make the tansaction worthwhile (postage wise), I bought some other stuff to get the full postage advantage.  :}
Fully recommended.  :-))

PM me if you want a link to the HK website.   ok2

Thanks guys - at the moment I have Spektrum & Giant Cod. I bought the GC because it was cheaper to buy a complete set than an additional Spektrum Rx - now I have another choice :}
