Can anyone remember who produced this semi-kit?

I don't know anything about it I'm afraid and we haven't seen the guy who built it for a while.  If our Stan sees this he may well know a bit more than I do.

This was a John Piper kit which was the best in its day. However all the top-side fittings were white-metal which by modern standards would not be acceptable

HI Bunkerbarge. I think this model is no longer at Kirklees. I seem to think is was sold last year.

I think the model was scratch built on a bought hull but it could have even been a bought hull.  AStan says the model has moved on but I was trying to identify the models origins.

Still, it did make into a lovely boat that handled very well.  The more i think of it though the more I seem to remember early trials with an open model seemed to look like a moulded hull.
