Really need to motivate myself back into this and finish her off!
Not a lot done over the Christmas and New year period really except a few bits on the warships.

Question - is it worth fitting a bilge pump to this particular model?
I'm obviously hoping that only a slight amount of water manages to get inside if anything at all - but, as far as the effort and costs are concerned - is it worth it to have one fitted?

Unless you have a plan to make the aft deck hatch water tight you should probably assume water will get in. How much depends on how rough your pond is and how long you stay out (and whether a sunk boat can be recovered).
This thread might be of interest though it does assume a pump will be fitted.

Many thanks Mike, that makes for an interesting read. Much appreciated.
Well, I think i'll get myself some Hunter Systems Bilge pumps ordered in that case - better safe than soaking wet looking for your sunken boat!
