u47 relay
« on: February 05, 2007, 04:40:28 pm »

hi. chaps
I am in the early stages of building a robbe u47 and am a bit puzzled by the mention in the instructions of a relay module
( made by robbe) in the switching circuit . I have made quite a few boats in my time but this is my first sub, but I haven,t ever used a relay in this way and I wonder if this is just an extra or is it really necessary in a sub any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Hi Ron. Here's a few links to other Robbe U47 builds , etc that should help you out. You should join the subcommittee website and the subpirates website because the best , most experienced people involved in r/c submarines are in those sites.

Magpie's built on Subpirates
