Cheddar boiler
« on: October 25, 2010, 11:44:37 am »

I would appreciate contact with anyone who can provide measurements and perhaps construction details on the cheddar vertical boiler for use in a krick borkum.
I have just produced a couple of boilers 2.625 x 4 inch (boiler size), but realise this will be too small. Overall height 7.75 inch.
I prefer to make my own rather than purchase.
Hopefully I have managed to attach a picture of the boiler, which is now surplus to requirements, but if anybody has a use for it for a smaller steam boat, you are welcome to get in touch.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
Thanks.
Willie

Unfortun ately as I'm in Germany I can't measure up mine but I'm sure there will be members with a similar set up.  I'll put some pictures up this evening when I get home as I have a Borkum with a Cheddar plant in it.

Update.

Just had a request for the boiler, so no longer available.

Thanks.
