Ian,
I like cap screws you could dismantle that engine with 2-keys, besides I had a surplus of 6 ba and 4 ba screws and being high tensile they hold on the cylinder head of my Flash steamer , just like the pic. 4 ba cap screws holding the steel cylinder head which is machined from a solid lump of M/S and tapped into 70 ton tensile cast iron cylinder flange., this pic was taken when the engine was new, the head is now burned black.




I now use hex head bolts as I have run out of cap screws. pity though that they are so expensive, if I wanted bling how about chromed cap screws.
