Gamma, a new member from Italy
« on: November 09, 2010, 10:37:09 pm »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi to everybody, my name is Sergio, a retired engineer, living in Milano, north of Italy.
I started to enjoy modelling many, many years ago...50 years ago, more or less.
The long adventure started when my father presented me one of those Airfix cheap kits, a sparkle started in that moment and it is still shining; for many years, at the beginning, I was involved in plastic kits assempling, later I enjoied  the 54 mm miniatures painting and collecting and finally, in the last 20 years or so, I am concentrated on RC electric boats scratch building.
Recently i tried the RC off road cars but, I must admit, that they do not fulfill my interests...and here I am back to my boats.
At the present I am going on two projects : PT109 and, for the first time, I am trying a kit: the fantail launch by Midwest and a new power source: the steam...I am interested to develop this new experience.
I guess that the above may be enough to introduce myself, i'll be pleased to share activities, experiences, opinions  with you all.
Few pics about my modelling activities

That's all folks by now, have a nice day and...ciao!  :-)
