MMM single screw

HI ALL
       Anyone building single screw tugs for this years MMM? I ve been using a nangee (60mm-kort) with some success for last few seasons

       Hi Steve,
       I've got a Euro Girl hull in the work shop when I did the carousel
       tug last year.  you should have let me know.

Whipped the rudder of my 'Flying Duck' and fitted a kort to use in single screw John.
Always found that steerable korts are the way to go for manouvering tugs.

I,m going to use my Damen Stantug 1906 which has a single steerable kort nozzle...It can turn in its own length...
I am thinking of building a Damen Stantug 1605 in 1/24 Scale for wee Johnny to use...I,ll just fit one big kort noxzzle instead of two little korts...

Just had the first 'bath' test with my old 'Flying Duck' with her new 100mm Kort Nozzle!

Wow!!!  ;D

Dying to try her tommorrow to see how she can manouvre in the water now.
I'll get around to a proper purpose built single screw job sometime, but if she works like I think she will I'll be happy for now.

Presumably this is something to do with tug towing, but what does MMM stand for?

will look forward to seeing them mate going in shed later to start lathing mmm thruster nozzles flat for portgarth will have to take photos of this one . have found some photos of my powerfull (afon) build will Post a few later

Hs93 - thanks- understood. I'm glad they Sponsor the competition, and I'd be even happier if they could spell "Sponsor". Still, it's the thort that counts.
