li-polymer battery
« on: February 10, 2007, 03:35:49 pm »

I have a 11.1v 1200mah li-poly 10c battery. Can I use 11.1v 2200mah 12c battery with plane and use the same charger as for the first battery.  The plane I have is an electric Wilga 2000, flies great, excellent plane for beginner, it is a 290 motor with decelerator and a 15amp brush esc.  Can I use the bigger battery without doing any damage for longer flying time.

Any help much appreciated.

Yes you can use the larger battery ELECTRICALLY as it is the same voltage.
But will the extra weight upset the trim of the aircraft?
