LOL she should fly just hopeing not literally and ending upside down.
I watched a vid other day of a 32" hydro on same setup and hit 55.3 mph so aiming for 50mph,but think it will be a problem once set up  :-))

thought id put it all together and weigh it.
With the motor and leg on,4s 1p 5000 mah lipo,200 amp esc,and heavy duty brass geared 15kg servo all in,the weight is 6lb,7oz

Hi Daz can i ask what keeps the electrics dry does it have a lid to seal before you add the cowl?.She looks good m8 and the weight sounds fine to me,you might even need to add weight to the front of the sponsons  :}.

Hey mart,if you view reply 13 youll see pics of the lids,which will be taped down before adding the main cowl.
Cg is at 30% as it is,will adjust as soon as iv got it wet and know what shes doing.

just gotta wait for it to fully harden,spotted a couple of bits im not happy with so will sort these out and wet sand with 800g for a super smooth finish before topcoat colours.

Thanks mart,still undecided on colours and skint till next week <*< but at least it will give me time to finish preping :-))

Just an update,its now been wet sanded with 800g.
Iv been and picked up the paint this morning and the 1st of the colours has now been sprayed.
Watch this space,should be awesome :-))

Well guys here it is,this is by a million miles my best build by far,im really happy with the way its turned out.
Cant wait to start putting it together,just gotta let it harden fully 1st.

Hey guys,just an update.
i decided to add some extra caps to the ESC,iv got some caps lying around so made my own cap bank.
Heres what i come up with:


And not long finished installing it:

Never used 1 before but been researching and reading up with good results,will soon see :-))
