evening all

can any one tell me how to work out what scale aircraft i need.
i am in the process of building a free hand carrier and want to puy some planes on it but dont know what type i am going to use. the carrier it 850mm long so planes want to be about 30mm but what scales is that.

Thats not really the most helpful description of your items to work out scale.

you have stated your 'carrier' sizes but what scale is it? it would be prudent to make the aircraft the same scale as the boat.

your next issue is that you haven't stated what aircraft to want to use, so that is no help in working out scale either!

anything 1m long could be any thing in full size with out knowing your original 'scale' of the craft we can't help!.

i have pm you a scale chart, you can work it out for your self.
