how cheap can you get?
« on: November 25, 2010, 12:23:10 pm »

Hi all, I have just gone as low as a body can, I have just been in to Poundland for a refund!

Well it was light bulbs and they were mislabeled and the wrong fitting.
It can't happen very often as it took 3 people to deal with it!

However I do recommend checking whether the pound shops have the light bulbs you use, as they are much cheaper and last as well.
regards to all Roy

They also do 100w bulbs occasionally (though they run out fast!)

I understand that the Germans are now able to buy 100w bulbs as some enterprising importer has re-defined them as 100w heating elements to circumvent the EU ban....
