Thanks again for the info, more one looks into the Empire tugs the greater the variety, I remember the old Cervia as a young lad working on the London river and she always looked smart. Just I fancied a steam PAS tug and the old fellas in Chatham used to wax lyrically about the Prompt and the Resolve. I was saying to Shipmate 60, the only noise add ons I would consider is a telegraph and a decent low register steam whistle as being steam the engines barely whisper flat out, except of course if you suddenly stop engines from full power, then the boiler safety valves lift and that is louder than the whistle, I did it once on the St Margerates crossing a separation zone for a crossing ship, it was lunch time and I woke the whole bloody ship up from their after dinner slumbers, I was not popular.
