would any members have an idea of what size 2 blade prop a petrol weedeater motor would run. i think it is about 20cc , 7000RPM but on a 7:1 reduction.

Try starting at a 68 mm prop then you may go up to 74mm. your motor needs to be able to rev at thr top end so don't overload it.

7:1 Reduction ?
You could run that in a big scale boat with a 130 mm scale prop with no hassles at all (it would handle even more!), Bills suggestion would be for surface direct drive I would think.
