Alkaline battery

Hey guys I have access to alkaline batteries since I work for the airlines, we just throw them away because after we ops check our emergency slides we install new ones even though there still good for another to couple years . I was wondering if I can use them to run my LED lights their 9v packs.

Should be no problem, use this wizard to calculate the resistance you need:
