Cheap-ish LEDs
« on: December 27, 2010, 02:43:21 pm »

Our Christmas tree lights went on the blink ( {-)) yesterday and Mrs wibplus was talking about throwing them away and getting a new set.  :-) :-)

LEDs, I thought.  :o :o  ok2

I stripped the set and tried to work out how 80 LEDs would work "in a string" and I found that they work in strings of 8 and they all interlink to run the set from 24 volts.  %) %)

Guess how many boats I can light up now from a £4.99 set of Christmas lights from Lidl.   %%  %%  %%  %%
