HI Martin. I am sure that I speak for all fellow Mayheme-rs in thanking you for taking the time to travel to Doncaster and for placing so many pictures of the event on Mayhem. I am sure these will be appreciated by fellow boat  builders that could not attend the event.

More thanks for the pictures Martin
We have nothing to compare with the U.K. shows down here and it is an inspiration to see the variety of models.

Totally agree with above.....they give a lot of inspiration to a lot of builders, and I just love looking at them........

In some ways, better than going to the show, as I find that you never get enough time to look in detail at all the models on show and invariably miss some whilst the mind or the kids distract you from the main bizz......I for one , can't get enough of them.

cheers, neil.

Great photos Martin, being more or less housebound this is the nearest I can get to a show.

Love the models with the deck clutter detail like the one below.

HI DickyD. Thank you for your comments on the model with the deck clutter. The model is a Midwest Boothbay lobster boat at a scale of 1/12 or1in to the foot. The model was built in 1989.  It still draws a lot of attention both at lakeside or at model shows.

Thank you for posting such great shots of the show Martin, much appreciated.

Special thanks to CADMA for a great show and many thanks to all the other participants who gave us a very warm welcome. We were pleased to show as a forum and raise money for our chosen charity, Help 4 Heroes, of which we collected £120.64 through sales of goods and donations -MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED

The awards to Rex, (Special merit award for HMS Hermes), Runner-up Naval Ships for HMS Edinburgh, (Chris Bullock & Cloggie), were a total suprise: To then be awarded Best Display left us overjoyed and shellshocked :-)).

Here, a proud Rex with his Mayhem award for HMS Hermes from 2 weeks earlier

Cloggie,
Your stand and the models displayed deserved the awards.
Once again like at Mayhem Weekend you put on a fantastic
display of warships that are a credit to you all.  :-))

Manny thanks for the great photos Martin , even though all that was on the goole display of mine at the time was the stand from my springer (it was on the pond) .
It was a great show and big thanks to everyone who organised it and all those who helped , some familiar faces and new ones .
