I have obtained a fibreglass hull of Britanna, J class yacht, made by Bob Underwood I am told.
It is about 160cm long and very good quality.
Scale seems to be about 1:30.
I have a set of sails to suit, gaff rig with 3 jibs and a topsail, the mainsail boom is very long, overhanging the deck
I have just finished planking the deck, which had been started by an other modeller.
I am working on the deckhouse at moment and I am looking for any information about the yacht, photos, drawings etc.
I have the drawings from marine modelling which are of a smaller model with a drop keel, mine has internal ballast.
I also have the book by Ian Dear Enterprise to Endeavor which has a few photos of the boat, but not many closeups
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
Terry

A full size replica of Brittania was built a few years ago in Russia - owned by a Norwegian I believe. You might find some pics in Classic Boat etc?

Thanks for link
There are some good photos on the site and I can incorporate some of the detail on my yacht.
