First wooden kit?
« on: January 13, 2011, 11:21:21 pm »

Evening all !

Looking for a first wooden kit for a young personage!

Ideally, I'l looking for a simple speed / sports boat, cabin cruiser, tug, trawler... anything really but must have most of the shapes
already cut out ( laser, water or routed  ok2 ) ie. safe for a young person.

Suggestions please please.....

 Martin    :-)

was thinking the same thing,  http://modelboats.hobby-site.com/RAF.html even has the plans as a dfx document so you could get them cut by one of the many cutting services that are offered on here. (feel free so say if this breaks any copywrite)

I don't believe in restrictive copyright. I issue any work I do under a copyleft license - this meant that it is free for anyone to use, modify and distribute to others as they see fit, but they must not charge money for doing so.

Oh, and any of the plans are available as .dxf if you want - I just thought that nobody in my target audience would be interested in this...
