Club 500 cat and Saga cat vids

some vids from today had some good runs but the wind didnt help but hey better than iced over water.

Still had some cavitation issues but once going it was good fun,couldnt hit full throttle though windy and choppy LOL

Hey bud i think so,was fun to run though the it flies over the chop  :-))
Will post some more once iv made a couple of changes and hopefully run a slightly larger prop to help stop the cavitation.

wow thats impressive  :-)). I been waiting to see the 500 go since you first posted the idea, I really do think there could be a lot of interest in this as a limited racing class.
Well I want 1 anyway !!!
I think its to quick for a beginners class, & its lack of self righting will undoubtedly put some off, however i think as a 1 make design class, there's a real chance it will take off.
Congratulations on making such an impressive boat, I cant imagine theres a faster boat /£ out there.
By the way, what sort of run time are you getting?

Thanks once done some testing it should be a real little goer LOL.
See how it goes and what happens in the near future.
As for run time not 100% sure as of yet ,will do some more runs and post a vid or 2 as i hopefully make progress in the right direction.
Will keep you posted but all i can say is that the batts,motor and esc were barely warm.

Will take it again soon and do some more running and see if i can stop the cavitating and get in trimmed in :-))
