FISH TAIL PROPULTION..

Good evening all respected Friends..now i am going o make a craft with Fish Tail propultion...means a reciprocating tail at stearn...at centre...will some one give me some guidance for that...?  please..?

It has been done before.
There is a toy shark on the market, you may find one on ebay.

Google search only comes up with dead links for me.

There was some old discussion by a project called Faux Fish with a video on youtube for faux fish man powered submarine.
There may be a discussion on fauxfish.wordpress.com but I cannot access this site from where I am. Maybe you can.

Years ago when I used to spend my lunch hours in the MoD Naval Historical Library, I came across a book by some bokes who proposed to power a 71-gun ship by means of an articulated tail. I think the book was respectfully dedicted to HM King George 3rd.

I was just wondering if part of a tail could be made to move like the motion of a venetian gondolier's scull (if that is the right word).
