Break the Ice for Mayhem

Just to break the ice for Mayhem here is a picture of three boats.
From the back is an AeroMarine Challenger 48 (CMB 90).? The two 1/8th scale boats are built from Roger Newton plans. The white boat is based on a Miss Circus Circus (OPS67) and the red one is based on a Winston Eagle (CMB 90).

Hi RC John.

What paints do you use to get such a gleam?

Dream Weaver and Dream Weaver 3 were painted by my friend who has a car respray business. The paint is water based - Ford Lipstick Pink on the Challenger and Porsche Guardsman Red on the four point hydro. The reversed canard is automotive spray cans by myself, just white and fluorescent pink BUT oversprayed with clear coat lacquer by my friend AFTER decalling.
You shold see some of the paint and decal jobs on his boats - they are spectacular!

nice boat pitty most of the pics didnt load maybe if you downsize them?what engine are you running? im going to build a 54 inch deep v next spring to put a 28 cc strimmer engine in.should give me about 25 to 30 mph with a surface drive hopefully.that will do me nicely till i can afford a zenoah 260 gpum from oneil brothers in the states.why the states? cos its way cheaper than anywhere here even with shipping lol ;).hers my 36 inch nitro powered one ill be upsizing this one from plans i have of it.
