can anyone recall the name of magazine/catalogue which was available from model shops which listed the range of plans that were available?

Dependant on your age it could have been APS or MAP or ARGUS or laterly My Hobby Store.

was lookinh for a sea planetender or something alike, the mag i had in mind had categories such as war ships, fishing, unconventional, one plan i remember in it was "orca" out of jaws.
