model boat club in Falmouth

hi ,
I'm visiting my daughter in Falmouth and she told me a model boat club meet at the local lake every sunday.Do any of you lot know what time they meet at as i would like to go and meet them. :D :D :D :D

hi,
some people do go to swanpool, but from what i have been told, the club itself has broken up, but hopefully will be getting
reorganised soon.

I have not heard that Falmouth Model Boat Club has broken up.I attended their fund raising show a couple of weeks ago,and I know they attended a show at Helston after that.I will contact the secretary,and get a reply from her,and post it. They do sail at Swanpool on Sunday afternoons,and there are a few stalwarts who regularly go,so should be worth a try.

Just had an e mail from the secretary of Falmouth Model Boat Club, and she tells me it is just a rumour, and that the Club is STILL GOING STRONG

hi there im new to this so bear with me!! Im the secretary to the falmouth model boat club,and i can assure you all we are going from strength to strenght.Ive been  the secretary for two seasons,and this season we have recruited more than we had in the last two years,so any rumour you hear please ignor it.Anyone wanting to join us please feel free to send me a email MODERATED I  hope this puts the record straight  :-)

 i can assure all that the Falmouth club is doing well,i had a good time admiring their boats last sunday (26 June) .Unfortunately i didn't get info on who built what so if any one from the club would like to put names to boats be my guest..
