hi all just to say hello and put on record that i am repairing and updating a billings trawler kit, last sailed in anger by son and heir in the early 70s.
Laid in loft this past decade and full of dust few splits in hull, batteries have done their corrosive best quite a mess.
but will be a sight to see son's face when finished.

Hi, Dave, and welcome to Mayhem

sounds like an excellent reason to be boat modelling.
There are quite a lot of restorations going on, ask for any help you need and please let us know how you get on

Welcome aboard  :-))

Sounds like a great reason for a project.
If you have the time and energy it would be great to see a build/restoration log on here. We don't see many restorations.

It's nice to hear Dave, that you are going to use the boat for it's intended purpose, I hope your efforts will be rewarded, by glourious sunshine this year. All the best and good luck.

Andy.  :-) :-))
