Surely a considered "U-Turn" is better than just blindly going ahead with a flawed idea....which, if memory serves, is more or less what the last lot of muppets used to do, and look at where that got us to.
The way I'm beginning to see much of this is recaltricance by the Sir Humphreys that Cameron is having to battle with to get anything at all done that may (or not) be beneficial to us great unwashed. Having said that, surely making the Forestry Commission more efficient and productive would be better than just tossing out the whole notion of State ownership. It would also help if some of the Union leaders would engage brain and at least try to "modernise" a little. BY.
