Wish the Restorers the best of luck. To restore an old boat can take a lot of money. Sadly to much of the lottery money is being used
for the wrong purpose. It appears that to even be in with a chance of a grant. You have to employ a profesisonal to  write out your
application. Wish every one the best of luck. Lets hope theres new life for the old girl. John.

The Lady Muriel and I went on a short cycle ride down the Caledonian Canal from Inverness as far as Dochgarroch Lock(5 miles) and spotted some interesting vessels there.  A Dutch Barge (for sale), a pointy front Springer (BW workboat), a nice converted traditional fishing boat in varnished planks, a tall ship and military or naval powerboat in green. Beyond the lock was what I thought from a distance was the hull of Scot II but it turned out to be a much smaller vessel.  Herself was not amused by my mentioning "old wreck" in the same breath as her name thereby ending any attempt at humour.  I fell off my bike shortly after, or was I pushed ?  :(( 8)

If I had a Gin Palace of that size I would go round  <*< <*<
In the sixties we took a 75Ft MFV from Lossie To Rothsay
Hard work in those days
All fishing boats then but now its the leisure craft paying the dues
for the upkeep
Having sailed all over the World it is still one of my favourite places
