Mosquito and Hurricane to be restored
« on: February 15, 2011, 06:00:40 pm »

I'm glad to say that my city council (Calgary Alberta) has decided to have restored (display only) a Mosquito and a Hurricane they have had in storage for decades.
They have authorized $800,000 to be matched by fundraising.

Frightening stuff, this inflation.  That amount would have bought a couple of squadrons of each when they were new.  Working engines and everything.
