New project
« on: February 17, 2011, 11:22:22 am »

Hey guys (and gals  :-) )

Im looking to start a new project for this year and have my eyes set on building a tug from scratch
Just looking for some input into a possible subject to model that wouldnt be too difficult seeing as i only
have limited scratch building experience.
So far i am thinking of keeping it simple with a single screw possible in a kort.
After looking at bluebirds build of the cervia i have become more interested in this plan but would love a
model with a slightly more modern feel to it

Any thoughts and recomendations greatly appreciated

...Hi Lt Raen...

If its a grp hull you want to start with, I would recommend one of Mobile Marine Models hulls...

The "NANGEE" at 28 inches long can be made into a very modern tug and can be buit as either twin or single screw...

The "ANGLIAN MAN" at 24 inches long is another modern tug again twin or single screw....

M.M.M. also have a selection of older style tug hulls in their range...

...Best Regards...Norry...
