« on: February 18, 2011, 10:39:28 pm »

Has anyone an airfix model of a lynx or Merlin heli in 1:72 scale, if so could you please tell me the length from nose to tail and the widest point of the main body please?

Thanks,

Can't you get a close approximation by looking at the full-size specs on Wiki and dividing by 72?  For instance, the Lynx is 50ft, so the model should be 8 1/3"...

Oddly enough, I was searching through a cupboard the other day and came across a Matchbox 1/72 kit of a Lynx. I bought it so long ago....1970s? ...that I can't recall why! Still in its box, as bought complete with celophane wrapping. Offers? BY.
