ACTion service
« on: February 25, 2011, 01:08:23 pm »

Hi, just thought I'd post about the excellent service from Dave at ACTion.  :-)  O0  O0
I spoke to Dave at about midday yesterday and ordered the electrics for my Smit Rotterdam which I am about to build. Got some useful advice as well.  :-))   :-))
Parcel with the goodies arrived today at 12:30.  :-))  :-))  Well chuffed.  :}  :}

How's that for outstanding service, eh ??   O0 O0 O0 O0 O0

I can agree with that - that is standard service from Dave - I e-mailed for advice on Sunday expecting a reply during weekdays
got a reply sunday evening then telphoned  Monday and got a load of assistance and ordered after I had looked at the website.
Items arrived Tuesday - as my old Mum used to say - Cant' say fairer than that.  The big plus is he designs/builds what he sells
so he knows what he is talking about, not like some of the assistants in some of the mail order businesses who can only repeat what is
written on the box.

Dave's service is first rate ..... I have always been impressed with his "old fashioned" attitude to his customers :-))

Not sure Dr Tim (Wombat) would agree with you there {-) {-) {-)

Can I join the "Dave Appreciation Society" too?

I've had no dealings with him, but from what I read on Forum, "he does what he says he does on the tin".

Well done Dave and crew at Action. If I need your product in the future, I know where my first point of contact will be.

I bought a lot of gear off Dave last year for an MS Tamar, simple to install and worked first time. Yesterday I emailed him  for some advice the email was timed 16:45, at 16:59 I had my answer, now that is what I call service. Well done Dave.    :-) :-) :-)

Whilst it is relatively easy to service customers in country, overseas customer service/satisfaction is a good criteria.

Action also excels in this area as well as the prompt handling of email enquires.

I second all of the above. Dave is helpful, knowledgeable, sells great gear and has excellent service, even to the colonies :}

its good to here many people saying nice things about a company,  :-))
A happy customer will normally tell 1 person and unhappy customer will tell 10.
so well done ACTion you must have a really good service, (will save up some pennies to buy something from you some day)

 :embarrassed: Aw shucks, guys!
As Barrie says, Tim Fawcett (aka Dr Wombat) does the design work and Liz M is our Finance and Logistics Departments. With Huw Davies (the Welsh Web Wizard) and a little help from PMK all I have to do is draw the pictures, solder the bits together and answer the phone/E-Mails.
It's very nice to be appreciated though - like Craig Talbot used to say, we like to get it right.
