Last day of the season and thx to Willy because he made the Puffer ready-to-run so i was able to get there today. She sits perfect on the water, handles very well. Here are 3 pics and a video. It was a very nice day with lots of sunshine and many boats on the lake. Perfect  O0 ;D

Hello my Lords

Jan's buffer is currently in my small yard. The smoke has been improved. I've installed two 12V PC fan, one was throttled to 6V for a replica, model without driving. The other fan is an electonic components - a bridge - from the drive motor supply depends on the speed with power. The function is given in forward and reverse. Accordance to increase the speed or the low protective smoke emissions.

Here are a few pictures, as I have solved it:

Full Throttle

Full throttle to stop machine

Here's a little test video in our small garden pond unfortunately

Great to see her again - and still looking good! Smoke generation most impressive. Thanks, Willy for showing us the update.

 :police:

After getting out of the prison (bribed the judge with some crates of Scotch) we sailed the "Maid" back to my homewaters. I removed the Rx and sold it with the whole remote (40MHz Graupner MC-12). Now i switch her to 2.4 Ghz with a Spektrum DX5e.

It seems there is no show planed this year Willy  {:-{

The puffer is switched to 2.4 ghz. But now the cheap servo is broken, i replace it for a digital servo... probably next week.

Everything works fine now but i needed to re-calibrate the rx and the speedcontroller. The Action sound generator was also recalibrated and works correct now.

But strangely with esc in mode 2 i received interferences with the steering servo. Now we plugged the esc to the right stick and the rudder to the left stick... and this works  %)

Ferrite to the cable from the power steering solve the problem. Have you this tested?
