Ok here we go. For a start no 2 Luzzu's or the smaller sister ship the Dghajsa,... are the same, none were built from plans they were all built by eye. Most set the setee lateen sail but some set an Arab type lateen but I know of one (back in the early 60's ) who set standing lug sails, some had jibs others didn't so you pays your money and takes your chances (Look at the bright side ,,the rivet counters can't say that was wrong) Right I'm going with the setee lateen rig
Masts 2/3rds the lenth of the hull , the yards are the same lenth as the hull ... the foremast is stepped aproxametly 1/4 of the lenth aft of the stem and the main is stepped aprox. 1/4 lenth from the stern post
The yards are hung at aprox. 55 or 60 deg angle ....Remember none of these fig's are hard and fast feel free to change things
