My first sail of the year
« on: March 07, 2011, 10:14:53 am »

As the weather has improved I thought I would take up an offer of going sailing.

What to take ??  All I could find near enough to working was my trusty Rescue springer.  Who nicked the R/C and where was the battery connections.  We've all been there and thought, I'll just connect this and that and away we go.  Ho Hum.

It took a few hours, as well as a bit of battery charging,  to assemble the bits and pieces and get her presentable and then it was off to the lake.

I had forgotten what fun it was to race a springer around with no worries about cost or damage.  I took a movie and posted it up on You Tube with the added pictures of her construction from last year.

When I have the time I might build a springer of the RNLI Severn and hope I don't upset anyone.  Where have all the fun builds gone, folks.  Any original ideas here ready for the next Mayhem Bash at Wicksteed Park.

                                             :-))  :-))  :-))
