have been offered 7.2 700 mah nicd batteries not charged still in pack was told 4 years old any good still what are thay worth thanks

I'd forget it, nicads are old technology and none too good compared with nimh cells. especially when they're so old. You can get new cells of greater capacity for peanuts from many places.

£2 quid at max there only 700mAh they may only be worth scrapping at 4 years old, you can get 2500 from the component shop for £9.99 new!

had the nicd batteries and charger given to me to day charged them all ok ran a small motor on one for nearly 3 hours would it be at all possible to connect them to get a longer running time and and how.. also how would i charge them single or connected thanks
