I would suggest using the music from the film Titanic (My Heart Will Go On), but this could be tempting fate  :embarrassed:

Here is a temporary dock I knocked up to protect the ship from the lake walls.

That was a realy nice vid you filmed. Like the photo of her in dock. Are you going to be taking her to any shows this year?

About the dock, here is a starter kit for typical simple quayside that could be scaled-up as a beginning. There must be other card model kits that could yield more ideas and details.  Might need a new thread on this subject.  www.papershipwright.co.uk/pf05/details.shtml

Silly me , yes exactly.  A common set of sections that members and clubs could have a couple of section in the car and clubs could have larger items for show and so on.  Any thoughts on interlocking bits ?   B&Q/Screwfix type bits , something we can all find countrywide.

Was thinking of 'jigsaw' edge type interlocking..............core being made from blue foam for bouyancy and a thin sheet of ply on top for rigidity.....

Early thoughts as yet, but will continue discussion on the other 'topic'......

Maybe the moderators could replace the last couple of posts there (on Ferry Meet thread) ? Agree jigsaw knobs and grooves should work.

Great model! Well done.

I am going to build Scillonian III when I get my 1/1 scale motor sailer finished. Hopefully this will be October time!
