Hi everyone,

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Dan and am currently serving in the RMP so need to make sure I dont end up with too many models or I will not fit them in my accomodation every time I get moved  :-)

Currently have two RNLI Lifeboats arriving shortly (Severn/Atlantic 75 RTR) which I am hoping to modify to make them appear more realistic, but very much doubt I will match the level of some people on here! I suppose my saving grace is that my best friend is a trainee helmsman on an Atlantic in Sunderland so at least hopefully I can actually manage to blag a visit onto a lifeboat when home next  ;)

Hopefully will get to know some of you in the lifeboat section....or annoy you to death with my many newbie questions, if so please forgive me  :-)

Welcome aboard Dan,

You have entered the wonderful (sometimes frustrating) world of Model Boats.

Don't worry about being a "Newbie" - we all had to start somewhere !  O0
