It was a long time ago since I drove Mercs for Salvesens, the last truck I drove was a Scania 141 for Western Transport out of Western Ice at Eastleigh.

Just picked up this 2010 Shelby Cobra Mustang this summer. What a beast , 540 HP of supercharged go power. Great fun. It comes with a complete book of speeding tickets. Merely tear one off and pass to the constabulary. Saves them writing time.
According to Car and Driver magazine, this month, the 2015  Mustang will have full independant rear suspension, however, it won't be able to fit the 5.4 litre engine.

after owning a couple of honda CRVs I now drive a Mazda3 MZR CD it's the turbo diesel version not often seen down here in Tasmania, heaps of power and out tows any CRV, I can safely say that I wouldn't buy another petrol vehicle.

Hi
Audi Q3 Diesel. On a recent round trip of 3000klms. to Pretoria with the vehicle fully loaded it averaged 7.1 litres/100klm and a average speed of 108klm/hr.(and before anybody asks I used cruise control set at the speed limits which most of the may was 120klm/hr)

Alan Audi & Volkswagen are now building the best cars on the planet, just think what it would have done cruising at 90kph. A tip for even better milage, raise your tire pressures to 34psi front & 32psi rear on the highway. They won Lemans this year with a a diesel electric car, they are in a class of their own, just no beating them these days. Mick B.
