A Renault Grand Scenic
7seats for the Grandsprogs when needed
A 6'6"x4' boat bay when not
It was delivered on the 29th May last year and
had it's maiden voyage to Wicksteed from Grimsby
the next day :-)) :-))

who ever modified it brian did a fantastic job.....it looks much more like a genuine TF and Naylor TF than a gentry ever did.....really looks lovely.

i'm very envious.
had a 1951 TD when i was in australia 30 odd years ago, and just loved it .    wished i'd brought it home now.
once an mg man, always an mg man[and their replica's]
just love em.

ENJOY THE SUMMER .
I built it over 8 years. Made my own bodywork (alloy). Just a big model really! Now up for sale in "Kit Car"..send you more pics if you're interested! BY.

Not exactly a car but a multi seater with a driver so I just sit back and enjoy the drive and view.

i would love it bryan, but my wife would divorce me.........

i   said after i sold my mgc roadster 2 years ago because i couldn't drive it due to arthritis in my shoulders and back that i wouldn't have another classic, so swmbo has the last word.......

could't afford it either, unless i sold my clyde lifeboat for mega bucks...

having said that though.....it would be a tough call to choose between your lovely motor and a nice scimitar gte with power steering and space to put a model in the back, .....anyone fancy a swap for a very large model lifeboat,   lol  %% %% %%

His and hers transport - Had Nobby (thats the RAV ) from new - never broken down in 150,000 miles
SWMBO has Bisto(well look at the colour )for when the fossil fuel runs out  and an 03 RAV for normal use.
Both great for the bad winter and towing the horsebox.
Debatable which costs the most to run.

Amazing vehicle the RAV4. When it first came out, almost everybody asked 'Why?', and thought 'identity crisis'. The point of the crossover SUV was not really appreciated at first. BUT the RAV4 was the first of a new class of vehicle.
Now nearly every major manufacturer has at least one crossover SUV/softroader in its range.

not the best boat transporter...

but i can get my 34" fireboat and 34" sea commander in the boot together and my club 500 in the passenger footwell

i made a plywood false floor to level the boot floor in the dip in the middle so my boats sit on their normal stands

quite a few convertibles on this thread :-))

I actually tried a Scimitar GTE a few years ago and was a bit disappointed with the space available. BY.

Disappointed with the space BY?
For you or your models?
I'm around 6 foot and find them large enough for me! Must admit that the tail hatch is a bit restrictive for getting large loads in though. Drop the rear seats (either one or both) and you get a nice large flat area for load lugging.

In reply to the other "comments", yes we all know of the Royal connection (still has a Middlebridge version - I think), and yes any owner will be sick of hearing the Top Gear muppets comments ie they overheat, they catch fire et al. And the most well known one about the Royal connection!

This is my second one, ran the previous one as my only car for about fifteen years. Wouldn't swap the marque. Value for money - 5stars.
Purely a personal opinion, of course.  %)

Don't get me wrong..I loved it ,but the load area was so much less than the Lancia HPE I finished up with! BY.

must admit, sweeper..you summed it up perfectly.
i enjoyed mine, but would have prefared manual overdrive rather than auto, but it was a lovely comfortable drive, great fun, and didn't have to worry about body rust, lol.
i do fancy another.....one day. O0 O0
