Dont forget to bring some lead, pool density is often different than when ballasting at home.

Goes down lovely and level with just a hint of bow down towards the end of the tank filling- spot on!

Lithium battery technology offers significantly greater energy density. Lihium LIFE Lipo4 A123 batteries offer very high cycle life- up to 2000 charge recharge cycles, and will give about 50% improvement in capacity for the same weight. Lithium polymer offer about 200% energy density over Ni-MH, but lower cycle life.

Andy...You are always a wealth of useful information...Thanks.

Trev...What was it like fitting the Piston-tank?.....Easy?..... Scratch head..read instructions again type of thing?
Are you running the "Motors" that were in the kit?
What is the "Running/Lake time" you have?
What can you tell everyone about the best and worst parts about the "KIT" your "Build"
Thanks,

Guy.

I'm still in the process of building my "U-47" .......I'll eventually get some radio gear! LOL

Hi Guy,

Long time no hear! Coming to the Summer Dive-in this year- it's a biggy!

Re radio gear, you might be able to do a trade with Richard- he has more TX's than he ever needs and I'm sure with your talent for painting models you could work a 'deal'.

Hi Trev, Its always good to chat "Subs" with a fellow "Bubblehead"!
I really appreciate you calling and I'm looking forward to seeing your U-47 at  St Albans..If possible!!

Andrew.....I'll be attending the "Meet"(Sunday)...I'll bring a quid and I'll buy you a lemonade for your troubles!
...Unless of course you prefer a "Pepsi"?...Any soft drink i should imagine would be available?!

...I know"Product Placing" is a no-no so i'll be asking for any fizzy water that tastes like Coke! LOL

Yes both alcoholic and soft drinks are available. Food wise, things are a little more limited, so I recommend packing some sandwiches or a picnic.

I may do a barbecue (sausages and submarine rolls perhaps?) as the facility is there, not sure what the demand is though. We'll see.

Hi, Have the same gear as you 825ml tank. I have some old Tornado batteries that are pretty much dead now. Like the sound of these new type batteries. My internals are worse than yours. The only way is to do a complete strip down, which i've started. Will have the tech rack and bayonet system installed. Here this is how it was before. The plastic structure was always breaking away, and I added some green fibre glass filler as a make-shift repair. Big refit on the go now.
