Harold Payson RIP
« on: March 31, 2011, 11:09:44 pm »

Harold "Dynamite" Payson, the "Instant Boats" author, died last week aged 82. He made so many people (incuding me) realise that they could build a boat that would work. A great man who will be sorely missed.

Also saddened to hear this news.   Harold Payson, like Phil Bolger, contributed greatly to the average home builder building a boat and getting out on the water. I recently completed a 3yr build of a Phil Bolger "Old Shoe", which has brought tons of great joy sailing the local lake here in Bellingham, Washington.  These men will be missed.
