I think on of the forum members in the US of A has been using it but sorry I can't remember who.
Also the Indian Person used something similar for hull construction and the basic parts of the superstructure.

I've used it as the "Fiddley deck" on the trawler "Bayflower". Nice and light, easily cut and sanded to shape. Needs a sort of covering over the edges though. Worth experimenting with. BY.

Its very popular with American modelers, especially for aircraft.

I have tried to source some hear from local shops but no luck so far. Anyone know a non-online source?

As with all these "esoteric" materials, they're probably best found in a skip. BY.

In the UK it can certainly be obtained from Staples, the office stionery chain, and I think The Range may carry it in their craft sections. Used  in some model railway buildings so these outlets might help too.

If its the material I think it is then it is used as backing when framing pictures, embroidery etc. I get it from a shop that sells picture frames and framing equipment.

A trick that I've found Alex is to type Foam Board Models into the T'internet browser and it comes up with about twelve pages of entries. Might be someone near to you supplying it. :-))

Have found it works with links describing how to use it both in the written word and also U-tub.

Thanks guys. I'm going to try the local Staples and Range later on today. If not then will give a few google returns a ring on Monday.
