Hello everyone.
I have just returned home to the Isle of Man having visited the Northeast Model Show. Just as last year the venue was ideally situated and easilly accessed; plus the parking fee was an enormous 70p
for the day.
Once into the hall the people organising could not have been more helpful and friendly, this is what a model show should be like, just a pity the number of traders was not greater, but that said the ones who were there were very good and helped to lighten my wallet. I agree that the advertising could be better, perhaps this could be prioritised for future shows, for this reason I was not aware a competition for our models was planned but due to the generosity and commonsense of the organisers I managed to take part, thus to my suprise and delight came away with a third place.
To the organisers and other modellers may I say a big thank you.
