Every so often i have a thought and then build something different .
Well a couple of weeks ago i had this thought and built a sea plane , yes a sea plane
.
I don't have any photos of the build as it came together that quick , and i didn't get the chance to get the camera.
So it is basicaly foam board and pollystyreen with the odd bit of timber here and there ,
the first trial was a faliure as it dipped prop first in the water ,
i did slip some ballast down the fuselarge but the original sponson's did not have enough buyoncy to hold it up high enough out of the water to clear the prop.
The second session was better apart from the ESC cutting out at half throttle.
But this weekend with the wheather perfect and a freshly charged pack it was back onto the water and the results speak for them selvs .
