Hi Its me again asking silly questions but rather get some one to explain stuff to me than me get it wrong and spend lot money on wrong thing I'm looking at a prop but they only do it in lh and rh but I'm only going to be running a single prop and also there's this on website that has confused me Please note that when handing a Graupner prop the rotations are as follows:
Right Hand = Anti-clockwise rotation looking from the rear of the boat
Left Hand = Clockwise rotation looking from the rear of the boat

I think you need a right handed prop. This will stop the prop from unscrewing itself when the boat is going forward.

Most (full-size) single-screw vessels employ a RH prop. A RH prop at model size will tend to unscrew itself during use unless you have a LH thread on the shaft. Think about it - motor rotates clockwise viewed from aft and drag on prop tries unscrew it.

However, assuming you do not have a LH shaft thread, either a lock-nut on the shaft, a grub screw or Threadlok or any combination of these, will ensure this is very rare event.
