We are hoping the weather will be fine for Sunday and look forward to welcoming a number of visiting Clubs and individual model boaters.

We will be setting out our Scale Steering course and running a 'fun' steering competition throughout the day with a prize for the best performance. We will also have our fledgling Tug Towing section and floating dock in operation and some informal Club 500 racing sessions.

The Beale Park side gates will be open for visiting Clubs to set up displays from approx. 8.30 - 9.45am on Sunday morning. Access will only be possible for those who have previously registered their attendance with the Beale Park office or MTMBC. Each visiting Club member will be issued with their entry pass at the gate by MTMBC personnel.

From 10.00am onwards, admission will be via the main ticket office and normal admission charges will apply unless you have previously registered your attendance with the Beale Park office or MTMBC and your name is on the list!

Hope to see you on Sunday.

I really enjoyed my visit today. Had some very useful chats. The usual high standard of models on display and on the water. Pity Ron Dean was the only trader (but it was only a one day event).

Made mental note, perhaps I ought to have an experimental sinking of my puffer in the bath and think about retrieval arrangements!

Really enjoyed todays 'family day out' to Beale Park, my first trip to a model boat event.  With sunny weather I was expecting to see a lot more there, but some really nice boats.  Of particular interest were the submarines, especially the twin-tube-WTC Typhoon

Thanks to everyone who attended the Beale Park Event.......over 70 skippers, a 100 boats on display and about 14 Clubs represented.

Big thank you to all involved in rescuing my sunk steamer Osprey! Have decided that all future boats will be propane gas powered as the trail of gas bubbles rising from 2+ meters down was the only thing that allowed us to recover the hull and steam plant.

All of us at MTMBC had a great day and by all accounts so did everyone else.

Fantastic day, well done everyone.

A special thanks to Ron Dean of Deans Marine for making the effort and for his continued support for the show.
