Anchor cable
« on: February 27, 2007, 08:49:19 PM »

Hi, is there anyone out there that can tell me where to get some strong anchor cable (chain) ?

I have got some brass stuff which I hoped would be OK but I seem to have over engineered my anchor winch and along with the brass anchor I made I seem to be snapping it very easily.
The winch has a slipping clutch but even that is not lose enough, when I stow the anchor in the box I could possibly make a micro switch turn off the power but then as I need the power to 'walk the cable out' that idea is not on the top of the list so to speak.

So my friends I turn to those whom I think would know as I am quite new to building 'models'
