Watching the Shipping Traffic

Came across this excellent site, reviewed in Airwaves column MMI May 2011. Watch all the shippng traffic in the area of your choice.

www.marinetraffic.com

Just one problem - on this site, you can spend hours of time which should be spent on more useful things.

Iv'e been using marinetraffic.com for quite a while, even got the App on my phone but it is lethal. I can lose hours on it. If you like planes have a look at www.flightradar24.com. Just be careful you don't get addicted.
