fast speedboat ponds or lakes

can anyone tell me where the nearest place to me is where i can open up my graupner b28 in the lancashire/yorkshire border ???

Hi B28.
That's a whole lotta border to choose from. Are you anywhere near Bury. They have an excellent lake there at Bury Lido which is big enough to let rip with your boat. You may have to join their club tho'.

I don't know what a Graupner B28 is but if it's a fast electric you can sail it at the Kirklees Model Boat Club at Batley on a Sunday morning or Wednesday afternoon at one end of the pond away from the yachts and scale models. :D

If it is IC then I'm afraid you can't. :-[

B28 is a fast electric (Batboat) and it is fast too. You could try Kirklees but stay down the 'far' end or you'll upset Stan Stan the ASDIC man!
