Yes I agree. I like the English Electric locos but the Napier engines, not so much. They sound ok when running but what use is a broken down Napier.

D9009 Alycidon was down here at the Swanage railway last month for the diesel gala, it brought back a few memories of waiting on York station for the train to take me back to my ship...Happy days.  Just in case you are wondering, the red loco is a Western class D1062 Western Courier.............Tony
